A hard aluminium borosilicate mineral, typically occurring as dense blue-violet fibrous inclusions within quartz. Named after French palaeontologist Eugène Dumortier. One of the harder and more structurally stable stones in the collection. Associated with structured thinking and disciplined intelligence.

Hematite

Iron oxide, the primary ore of iron. Dense, opaque, and metallic silver-black with high reflectivity. One of the heaviest stones in the collection. Associated with endurance, stability, and physical presence.

Sodalite is a deep blue tectosilicate mineral often shot through with white calcite veins. Named for its high sodium content, it is associated with mental clarity and focused thinking. Built for execution. The ability to sit with a problem, filter out distraction, and find the line through complexity.

Tiger's Eye

Quartz laced with fine crocidolite fibres, built up layer by layer as the rock cracked and sealed over geological time. The characteristic chatoyancy, a golden-brown band of light that shifts as the stone moves, is produced by these fibres. Fully encapsulated in silica; no asbestos hazard in polished form. Associated with focus, discipline, and sharp awareness.
